The Ribbed Willy has all of the same great attributes as the Slick Willy but has the added bonus of a different vibration pattern because of the molded-in ribs. The low-level vibration that these ribs give off, closely mimic that of baitfish and allow predators to key in on the bait much better in lower visibility situations such as murkier or stained water, at night, in deeper water or around cover.

You can substitute the Ribbed Willy for:

Any topwater bait: rats, frogs, topwater spoons, spooks, poppers, slug-type baits etc.

Any hard or soft-plastic jerkbait: slug-type baits, flukes, shad imitators, etc.

Search baits: spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, rattlebaits crankbaits etc.

Finesse Baits: on jigs or with nose weights-craws, pork, worms, leeches, minnows, lizards etc.

Trailers: Try them as a trailer on a spinnerbait or a buzzbait when you need a bigger profile.
